Of Little Import?

Frank Ross Talbert, 40, a Lieutenant Colonel with U.S. Army Explosives Ordinance Disposal (EOD) assigned to Fort Campbell, is facing federal criminal charges after law enforcement officers conducted an investigation and executed multiple search warrants uncovering evidence that Talbert unlawfully imported firearms parts from Russia and other countries, unlawfully dealt in firearms without a federal firearms license, and committed multiple firearms violations related to the possession of machineguns… [More]

Disregarding for a moment that we all should be able to do that, I’m wondering how he thought he could without getting caught and if he exploited his official position in any way to do it.

Or is this just an hysterical way of painting snaring him with some technicalities?

Not Without a Fight

A new home for our people. [More]

Sorry. I’m not leaving and I’m not surrendering. And my people are ideological.

I’m surprised and disapponted so many in comments appear to accept preordained defeat. How do they flesh out the subjugation of tens of millions of armed Americans if just three percent say “No”? And where do they propose going?

Or am I reading this wrong? Because, after wondering why the dire straits we’re up to our necks in seems to be a revelation to some instead of what some of us have been warning about for years, my kneejerk reaction is to invoke Samuel Adams and Winston Churchill.

No one, starting with the signers of the Declaration, said it would be easy.

This is NPR

NPR assigned a reporter with ties to left-wing groups funded by billionaire financier George Soros to write the story. That reporter refused to answer a question about whether she was concerned about illegal aliens voting in the 2024 presidential election. [More]

Proud member of the DSM

Then there’s that little matter of wealth transferred from you paying an ideological bullet fee:

NPR may receive little direct federal funding, but a good deal of its budget comprises federal funds that flow to it indirectly by federal law.

Speaking of Liabilities

No conflict of interest there, right?

[W]hile in the legislature, I championed gun safety laws including a bill proposing gun owners carry liability insurance

Aside from no insurance policy covering willful criminal and negligent acts, guess who they can’t require to get insurance, because to force them to admit they had guns would violate the Fifth Amendment…

Speaking of Stereotypical Racial Slurs…

“How do we have a large body of people that are in our city, and country, that are excellent swimmers and, at the same time, we need lifeguards — and the only obstacle is that we won’t give them the right to work to become a lifeguard,” he said. [More]

We’re the Only Ones Predictable Enough

“If anything happens to me,” prosecutors said she told her friend shortly before her death in December 2021, “Pierre will have done it.” She was referring to Pierre Tyler, the father of her 9-month-old daughter and then a Chicago police officer, according to prosecutors, who said her prediction would soon come to pass. So which are you going to believe? Her ability to prophesy or his claim of self-defense?

Forget it, Jake. It’s Chi-Town.

Black Rights Matter

Dexter Taylor Sentenced 10 Years for Building His Own Firearms After Judge Banned Mentions of Second Amendment – “She told us, ‘Do not bring the Second Amendment into this courtroom. It doesn’t exist here. So you can’t argue Second Amendment. This is New York.’” [More]

Who Are the Militia?

Despite facing backlash from civil rights activists and Democratic lawmakers, Republicans in conservative-leaning Nassau County, New York, are moving forward with a plan to form an armed, civilian militia that the local government could operate as a de facto police force during “emergencies.” [More]

To paraphrase Slick Willie, it depends upon what the meaning of the term “civil rights activist” is.

Think of the mentality of anyone who would be against this.
