Masterpiece Theater

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Tuesday to dismiss a lawsuit brought by an attorney who’s been harassing cake artist Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, for more than 12 years. [More]

So it’s not “My life’s work my choice”?

You’ll notice who the cowards haven’t tried to sue.

What are the chances Phillips will be able to recover costs and damages?

What are the chances he won’t be targeted for more harassment?

Speak Friend and Enter

On Tuesday, the Justice Department unsealed an indictment against an Afghan national living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for “conspiring to conduct an Election Day terrorist attack in the United States on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO)”… Both Tawhedi and his juvenile co-conspirator were in the U.S. on Special Immigrant Visas. The Case for Tough International Arms Control

Academia.edu reposts a 2003 OXFAM report for some damn reason. [More]

Longtimers will remember we had some fun with OXFAM a while back.

Allow me to make a briefer case AGAINST tough international arms control:

No. Your move.

And I always crack a smile when I see these pop up:

If the dean who threatened to expel me unless I shaped up could see me now…

No. She Can’t. Not in This Context. She’s Not a Gunsmith.

Based on results, ATF can’t, either.

She’s just wondering if “ghost guns” can also fire 800 rounds a second.

It’s OK to say “she,” isn’t it?

Daily Defense

I’ll be joining host Mark Walters today at 4 Eastern to talk about what’s happening at SCOTUS with frames and receivers, and whatever else the conversation leads to.

Go to the Armed American Radio website to listen/watch live/find a station near you.

A Dish Best Served Cold

Michael Cohen changing his name and leaving the country for no reason would be pretty hilarious. [More]

So, they’re afraid a Trump DOJ will use Biden DOJ rules?

In any case, it’d be nice to see the cowardly weasel sweat if I didn’t think what he was really doing is polluting the pool with baseless propaganda.

A Weapon of War

Harris reveals owning a Glock: ‘Of course’ I’ve fired it [More]

So, essentially a firearm that functions in exactly the same way as those “assault weapons” she demands we surrender, and a weapon that militaries around the world deploy with.

All we can do is point it out.

Slowly Grinding Wheels

3-Time Convicted Violent Criminal Repeatedly Threatened to Kidnap and Kill Judge Cannon and Her Family – But Biden-Harris DOJ Waited FOUR MONTHS to Arrest Him [More]

That’s probably because, as a Trump-appointed judge, she’s a member of the “greatest threat” and he’s a supporter of the party that wants to disarm citizens so it’s easier to kidnap and kil them.

A Bitter Wind

Hurricane Helene Exposes A Deep Betrayal Of America [More]

Doesn’t matter. Neither does this:

Biden’s Deputies Spend $750 Million to Settle Migrants in North Carolina

And Helene was just the opening act for Milton.

But like I said, bitter and barren cat ladies unaffected by the storms want them some abortion, and they’ll burn the Republic down to get it.

Good thing the Fudds aren’t worried.

Breaking Some Eggs

Justice Alito Wrecks ATF’s ‘Ghost Gun’ Argument: Are Eggs and Peppers an Omelet?[More]

So are John Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett bent on scrambling things?

Mark W. Smith has some interesting thoughts, including “if the ATF theory is allowed here, then drilling a single hole in AR-15s to convert it into a machine gun means that an AR-15 is “readily convertable” into a machine gun and thus a machine gun. SCOTUS will need to issue a ruling to avoid this result.”

The Results of Compliance

California keeps a database on on firearm owners in that state that is extremely extensive and there’s really no way to get around that in that state… [Watch]

AB 574?

This bill would, beginning on March 1, 2025, additionally require the register or record to include the acknowledgment by the purchaser or transferee that they have, within the past 30 days, confirmed possession of every firearm that they own or possess.

Well, there actually is a way to get around it, but it comes with a risk. And I do still have mine, and it’s safe from them.

That post, incidentally, elicited all kinds of vitriol from bloviating anonymous keyboard warriors on AR15.com, including comments like “Reads like GOA bullshit. Stopped reading after I’d seen enough.” and “Interview with treasonous communist shitheads that will hopefully choke on a chicken bone and die.”

And people wonder why I don’t join forums

A Second Wind

Hurricane guns: DeSantis orders no suspensions, no limits on gun sales during storm [More]

It’s ridiculous that this is even an issue, but government

What kind of absolute statist moron would disarm the people at the time they needed to protect themselves the most?

Ol’ Don Hagan sure made a permanent name for himself, didn’t he?

And if you think Helene exposed FEMA, Milton is just getting warmed up.

Of Human Scum

National Jury Scam Prohibited Person Threat [Watch]

I had to initiate a credit freeze after the latest SSN data breach, I’ve been getting Medicare card scam calls of late from callers with foreign accents, and longtime readers will recall Mr. Kwaku.

Kinda makes you want to register those guns, doesn’t it?

I wish there was a way to take personal revenge on such pieces of garbage, but I suspect anyone who would lower themselves like this does not have the capacity to achieve genuine happiness. Still, I like to end such calls telling them they should be ashamed of themselves and I hope their boss beats them for failing.

O Come, All Ye Faithless

The study found that approximately 104 million people under the “people of faith” umbrella are not expected to vote this election, including 41 million born-again Christians and 32 million who regularly go to church. [More]

With abortion the big issue, they account for all the denominations out of 3,000 respondents from all religions.

Nope, no PsyOps here.

Damn Lax American Gun Laws!

The American Guns That Mexican Cartels Covet: A Visual Guide [More]

Yeah, I was amazed at how easy it is to straw purchase multi-barreled full autos and belt-fed SAWS from FFLs and unlicensed gun show dealers.

I guess nobody being actually punished means they’re free to try it again.
