On April 6, the Supreme Court demonstrated once again that the “landmark” Bruen decision isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, and neither are the paper tigers that President Trump appointed to the bench in his previous administration. [More]
Think of one job you’ve ever applied for where you’d have gotten it if you decided to play coy with the hiring managers. While it may be “inappropriate” for a judge to weigh in on a specific case before confirmation, there’s no reason why general principles of understanding should be off-limits.
Peltola had a solid record in support of the Second Amendment, and was the only Democrat endorsed by the NRA in the 2024 campaign cycle. Pro-gun Democrats are kryptonite to the gun control movement, so I can understand Hogg’s reaction at the time. [More]
The National Rifle Association is sponsoring “a multimillion-dollar TV advertising campaign … aimed at messaging beyond gun rights and reaching middle-class mothers, minorities and other Americans ‘who believe our country is off the rails,’” The Washington Times reported Thursday. “The gun lobby’s campaign … uncharacteristically delves into issues far beyond the Second Amendment to explore the IRS scandal, media elitism and security vulnerabilities, with a call to return ‘good guys’ to power.”
“[Americans] care about their Second Amendment freedoms but understand that all freedoms are connected,” NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre said about the ads.
Or when NRA filed a friend of the court brief in an ACLU lawsuit challenging NSA’s “Patriot Act” collection of telephone metadata on First and Fourth Amendment grounds…?
How ’bout when they teamed up with ACLU to fight “campaign finance reform” on First Amendment grounds?
“Single issue” phonies continue to enable this, and not a one of them has the intellectual honesty to take this.
Republican Congressman Troy Nehls said President Donald Trump is ‘almost the second coming’ of Jesus Christ while being interviewed by a CNN reporter on Capitol Hill on Thursday. [More]
Cult-like behavior won’t help us repel the Moloch-worshipping Democrats.
There’s no excuse for the Christ-like poster, anyone who says he was just being a doctor is gaslighting you, and it doesn’t help that the guy he’s “healing” looks like Jeffrey Epstein.
It’s like he’s trying to destroy any political chances for Republicans in general and Constitutional originalists in particular. It’s like that was the plan all along, while he strings devotees along with promises.
“Who else you gonna vote for?” may become the moot point some have always known it to be. Perhaps a better question for Second Amendment advocates is “Who are you going to let disarm you and how committed are you to saying ‘No’?” Because that’s ultimately the power they have over us — and we have over them.
I’ve always tried to present the good and the bad on the guy, both here and at the old place. If that’s enough for anyone reading this to brand me an enemy, all I can say is we must have very different visons of what America is supposed to be and stand for.
UPDATE
And not to use this as an excuse, but as an example of outraged leftist hypocrisy:
Authorities say that Chaudhari denied he voted at first when interviewed but later claimed he “made a mistake” and admitted to voting while also telling investigators he is not a U.S. citizen. [More]

The anti-gun-rights Brady group, which previously endorsed Eric Swalwell for Congress and honored him as a guest speaker at a 2024 gala awards event—the same night he allegedly assaulted his female aide—has erased his name from its website and a video of the event has reportedly vanished from its YouTube page, but the taint of their past association remains, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said. And following that same playbook is “powerful woman” husband Jimmy Kimmel, who won’t say anything in defense of victim allegations until enough people start noticing.

That’s the narrative the media is going to run with all the way up to the primary. I can understand the restaurant backing out– most operate on such slim profit margins ait probably doesn’t take much to scare them. Nonetheless, they said a lot more than they had to trying to distance themselves.
Springfield, VA — Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Gun Owners Foundation (GOF) are proud to announce a major win in our ongoing legal battle against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive’s (ATF) Biden-era “Engaged in the Business” rule. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has asked the Fifth Circuit to dismiss its appeal of the preliminary injunction GOA, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, Utah Attorney General Derek Brown, and Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch obtained against ATF’s unconstitutional Biden-era “Engaged in the Business” rule.
I wish they’d include a link with these so you could read the whole thing. I don’t see a post yet on the GOA site, so check there later.
