Cooper’s Rule 4

Email in re “We’re the Only Ones Compacted Enough“:

Whoa! wait a minute! Does anyone want federal (whether ‘compacted’ or not) on your trains? Careful what you ask for. Wrong arrow direction on the solution. Citizens, with deterrent power, are the solution. — Antigone

That would be a good comment to add under the post.

My answer would be of course not and then to show this post should be taken in context to the many times I’ve posted about Metrolink imposing citizen disarmament here and on the old blog and the many times I’ve posted on the category I invented, the “Only Ones.” They have set up conditions where you can’t protect yourself, they won’t protect you, and this deliberate policy guarantees more blood to dance in to demand even more disarmament.

Gun-Banners New ‘Shotline’ Resorts to Ghoulish AI Voices of ‘the Dead’ to Haunt Lawmakers

“Using AI technology, we re-created the voices of those shot and killed by guns so they can call our representatives in hopes of changing our country’s gun laws.” [More]

What do you call people who feed off the dead? Like the truism goes, garbage in, garbage out.

The Pre-SWAT Checklist

Guns Down America is headed up by the career prohibitionist who partnered with the commie union-affiliated Amalgamated Bank to come up with its Department of Precrime algorithm.

You don’t think any LE’s sent out to investigate are going to show up unprepared for a mag dump, do you?

That’s Why They Call It ‘Selective Prosecution’

Times Square shooting suspect faces no added charges for being in a ‘gun-free zone’ [More]

No, of course not.

It’s purpose is to deter self-defense carriers, not criminals.

Why do you think that is?

Your Guns and Money (That’s What We Want)

This flushing of taxpayer money will come at a time that the Democrats are simultaneously declaring that Oregon is awash in cash* and they need massive new taxes. Meanwhile Republicans have once again joined Democrats to add to Oregon’s massive employee retirement debt with another bill you and your grandchildren will have to pay for. [More]

Hey, you can’t expect tyrants to persecute you for free…

Commiesense Gun Laws

The bulk of Saturday night’s debate was over three failed amendments introduced by Republicans which sought to circumvent the waiting period for active duty military, people who have obtained a family violence protection order and those who pass a background check before the waiting period is over. [More]

So basically, thank you for your service, listen better to your man next time, and f*** you.

We’re the Only Ones Listing Enough

Aidan Johnston, Gun Owners of America’s director of federal affairs, told POLITICO the group “is closely tracking the FISA loophole allowing federal law enforcement to buy lists of gun owners and concealed carry permit holders without a warrant or regard for the Second and Fourth Amendments.” [More]

The oath-breakers are bound and determined to build that confiscation database.

A Right Delayed

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discuses the three pieces of huge news where three separate petitions to the United States Supreme Court have been filed asking for review of Illinois’ assault weapon and magazine bans. This, added to the other petition filed last week in the matter of Bianchi v. Brown, means that there is now four separate peititions before SCOTUS to settle this once and for all. [Watch]

You can’t put it off any longer, SCOTUS.

Make your decision.

Some of us have already made ours.

One of These Things is Not Like the Other

Researchers found that the average firearm mortality homicide rate for Black people of all ages was 21.05 per 100,000 people, compared with 1.93 per 100,000 for non-Hispanic white people. [More]

Tell us again why it’s Swiss gun laws that make the difference.

The Bad Hands People

There are no places evil can’t go. Limited, though, are your choices to stand up against evil and stop it. Ideas are being discussed everywhere about how to protect our schools. The insurance companies have threatened to drop school coverage on schools that protect children and staff by exercising the right to self-defense with a firearm. [More]

Which insurance companies? Name names.

Are they the only ones, or the only ones the schools are doing business with? What about state rules saying if you want to do business here you can’t discriminate?

A Word of Caution

Attorneys representing the Second Amendment Foundation and its partners in a federal challenge of the Illinois ban on modern semi-auto firearms and “large-capacity magazines” have filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme Court, seeking certiorari in the case of Harrel v. Raoul. [More]

Be careful that you don’t turn “common use” into a precedential limitation.
